 The first trip to get a passport is full of drama

Applying for a passport for the first time was quite stressful for me, especially since it had to be done simultaneously to get the same schedule. At first I thought everything would just run smoothly, register online, come to the immigration office, take photos, and that's it. Eh, it turned out to be unexpected. Online register drama: Fighting over slots like concert tickets

First, my friends and I created an account to enter the online passport service application, we were guided by our experienced lecturer. We aim to arrange regular passports. Initially we were optimistic about getting a slot easily, but it turned out we ran out of slots, both from all areas closest to farthest from our location. We got 4 slots, but when my last friend wanted to take the last slot, suddenly the slots ran out, that's when those of us who had already got slots had to cancel it and look for new slots😌 Until finally we decided to move to electronic passports and finally we got enough slots even though it was a little far from where we lived.

Running around the immigration office

The day for the passport processing arrived, 1 day before, my friends and I had prepared all the necessary documents. When we got there, it turned out that there were several documents that we didn't bring, such as study certificates, student identification cards, stamps, and several other documents. Some of my documents were even detained by one of the staff😑. We rushed to the cooperative and the printing place provided to complete the document. Once everything was complete, we were then allowed to enter the waiting room for a photo and fingerprint session.

Excitement during passport photos

In the waiting room I and my girlfriend were busy arranging the hijab so it didn't look messy, we also repeatedly added our make up. And my two male friends were in charge of holding a mirror for me and my female friends. Innocently they were willing to do this while looking at our permpongs😅. The photo session arrived, one by one you were called to enter the room. When my turn came I was a little nervous. But I am grateful that everything went smoothly. I can even repeat my photo session over and over again until I get photos that I think are good, even though the photos in my passport are still very ugly...😏😓😭

This is an experience that I will never forget

After everything was over, we went somewhere to take some photos together as a memento. Even though it was full of drama, this experience provided valuable lessons. Applying for a passport for the first time was quite stressful for me, especially when I was pressed for time. But all of that was quite paid off by the extraordinary experiences I had with my friends😇.

Whatever and however difficult it is, if you face it together it will definitely be easy and enjoyable..😸
